Travel to lands of the
Amish and Plain People on-line or in person to
experience the love of quilting by these folks, visit
their quilt shops, watch them quilt, purchase fabrics,
patterns, quilts and more!
For years, women have
been displaying their talents in their quilt works of
art. For generations, the fabrics used were scraps
of old shirts, and dresses, carefully cut apart and sewn
back together in designs and filled with real cotton to
then hand quilt or tie and keep their families
warm. Oh the joy it brought to many a face and the
humble pride these women have in their work is a
blessing to all.
This site will bring
back the reason we quilt and will take you into a time
where you may reflect on the God-given talents of many.
