today show a thriving group of Conservative and Old Order
Mennonites as they raise their families in the Harrisonburg and
Dayton, Virginia areas. Growing their own vegetables and
tending to their dairy farms is a way of life here. The
setting is peaceful and serene. Women still make clothes
for their families and especially love quilting. Here
you'll find several fabric shops, dry goods stores, farmer's
markets and roadside stands. |

The land is somewhat
hilly in this area. Rolling hills with big old farmhouses
tucked into the crevices of what people in fast-paced lives long
for.
